Description
Named after the small bay near Cape Brett, from a tree belonging to the sister of collector Lou Thackwray. A reliable performer across most New Zealand growing regions. Long conical fruit with green skin and red flesh. Medium-sized. Bears a notable breba crop plus a prolific main crop ripening in mid-April in the southern North Island. Rich flavour. Some ability to ripen after picking.
