User Data Deletion

Instructions for requesting deletion of Cultivara account data, including data connected through Facebook Login.

Updated: May 30, 2026

How to request deletion

Send a deletion request from the email address linked to your Cultivara account.

  1. 1

    Email the privacy team

Send an email to privacy@cultivara.app with the subject Data deletion request.

  2. 2

    Include the account details

Include the email address used for Cultivara and note whether you signed in with Facebook, Google, Microsoft, Apple, or email/password.

  3. 3

    Confirm ownership if asked

We may ask you to confirm control of the account email before deleting data. This protects accounts from unauthorized deletion requests.

What will be deleted

Once your request is verified, we delete or anonymize personal account data associated with your Cultivara account.

Account identity

Profile details, login links, external provider identifiers, and account contact details.

Garden records

Properties, garden maps, plants, notes, photos, care records, and tasks owned by the account.

Facebook login data

Facebook user ID links, email-derived account links, and related sign-in records stored by Cultivara.

Operational records

Support, audit, and security records are deleted or minimized where law and security obligations allow.

Timing and confirmation

We aim to acknowledge deletion requests within 7 days and complete verified deletion requests within 30 days, unless a longer period is required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons. When the deletion is complete, we will send confirmation to the account email address.

Removing Facebook access

You can also remove Cultivara from your Facebook account. This stops future Facebook Login access but does not by itself delete data already stored in Cultivara.

In Facebook, go to Settings & privacy, then Settings, then Apps and websites, choose Cultivara, and remove access. To delete Cultivara account data, still send the deletion request described above.
