Central American tropical fruit tree with juicy tangy fruit up to 4 kg; best grown indoors or under cover in NZ. Additional notes from duplicate entry: Soursop is a cultivar entry for Annona muricata. Similar to its cherimoya relatives, soursop trees tend to be momentarily deciduous in early spring. They prefer temperatures above 5 °C and are not as cold-hardy as cherimoya.
