Pyrus betulifolia, known as the birchleaf pear in English and tang li in Chinese, is a deciduous wild pear tree native to the leafy forests of northern and central China and Tibet. It can grow 10 meters high in optimal conditions.

Autumn Leaves is a cultivar of birchleaf pear. Slender smaller growing tree with graceful weeping side branches. They are clothed with shimmering green leaves, the effect being a cascade of leaves. Mass of fragrant white Hawthorn like flowers in early spring. Scarlet autumn leaves. Deciduous Matures to around 5 m tall by 3 m wide.
