Variifolium
Variifolium is a cultivar of water mares-tail. Aquatic. This has green pine-tree shoots that grow as a ground cover or can be fully submerged. It will extend up and carpet the water surface when grown submerged. Prefers full sun to shade areas. Relatively winter hardy. Perennial. Excellent for oxygenating and maintaining clean water and providing protected enviroments for small fish and wildlife.
