This format is useful where garden space is limited, because the tree can provide more than one harvest window, flavour profile, or pollination partner from a single planting. Braeburn / G Delicious is a double-graft apple combination carrying two varieties on one tree. Braeburn- Medium sized fruit red over green skin. Crisp, juicy, yellowish flesh. Stores well. Excellent for cooking. Ripe in autumn. Golden Delicious - Golden yellow, thin skin, crisp, juicy, sweet and delicious flesh. Hard to beat for fresh eating. Ripe in autumn. Deciduous.
