Description

‘Freyberg’ is a apple cultivar of Malus domestica selected for its named fruit qualities and orchard performance. A cross between Golden Delicious and Cox's Orange Pippin, sensational sweetness, aromatic, creamy, white flesh with a fine and juicy texture. The greenish-yellow russetted fruit has a mid season ripening time. Available in New Zealand. External cultivar references describe ‘Freyberg’ as follows: The sweetness of Golden Delicious married to strong flavour of Cox - but takes after Golden Delicious. Also known as Freyburg.
