Disease resistance is noted in source description. Gala x Redfree. Originated in France; introduced 1980; developed by Lespinasse, NRA Angers. Disease resistance: Good. Ready in summer, crunchy and sweet but not too acid. Initial is an early-season red apple — a Gala-type with high aroma, low acid and high sugar producing an exceptionally sweet, flavoursome fresh eating experience.
