Description

Mop Top is a cultivar of black locust. 'Mop Top' forms a ball of fresh lustrous foliage on a sturdy lollipop stem. Makes a strong statement in any planting scheme especially avenue planting. Equally fabulous in a large container. Hardy and tolerant of most conditions except wet feet. Trim to maintain shape and size. Deciduous. Matures to around 1.5 m tall by 1.2 m wide.
