Description

aka Canna Lush green foliage combines well with stems of yellow flowers that are lightly speckled with orange. Flowers from summer through to autumn. Likes a sunny position and humus rich soil. Cut back hard after flowering and mulch for winter protection. Perennial. Cannas are frost tender but as they are dormant in winter they will survive winter cold as long as you put a nice blanket of mulch over the rhizomes in winter. Flower colour: Yellow / Orange. Habit: Clump. Leaves: Deciduous, Green.
