aka Clematis hybrid An award winning and early flowering hybrid with 20cm 'stars' of bloom in a warm purple shade. The petals have an attractive wavy edge. Silky seed heads follow the flowers. Plant in a sunny position in deep cool well drained soil. RHS AGM. Deciduous. Group 2 Growing Clematis Flower colour: Purple. Habit: Climber. Leaves: Deciduous, Green.
