Description
A large pyriform fig from the MAF Manutuke collection at Gisborne. Yellow skin at the apex with purple-red colouring toward the base, and sweet, honeyed red flesh. Rich Adriatic-like flavour. Ripens very late — at Gisborne the fruit is just finishing as Adriatic begins its season. Possibly the same variety as Sandra.
