Description
A Californian import via Phil Gardner. Large oblique pyriform fruit with dark to black skin and deep red flesh. Rich Adriatic-style flavour, though the skin is bitter when not fully ripe — notably the skin colours well before the fruit reaches true ripeness. Heavy breba crop plus a prolific late main crop.
