Description
Native. This lovely species Hebe forms a rounded bushy shrub with dark green glossy leaves. Large racemes of purple-blue flowers appear on and off for most of the year. Grows happily in sun or part shade and is tolerant of coastal conditions but doesn't like harsh frost. Evergreen. The term 'speciosa' is Latin for very showy so you know this Hebe is going to be well worth planting at your patch. Flower colour: Purple / Red. Habit: Shrub. Leaves: Evergreen, Green.
