Description
aka Plantain Lily This award winning Hosta has broad heart shaped leaves approximately 10cm long that come in tones of green outlined with golden yellow. Forms a bold clump. Stems of mauve bell shaped blooms in early summer. Plant in a semi-shaded spot in nice rich moist soil. Perennial. RHS AGM. Grown mainly for their colourful foliage, they like a shady site with moisture. Protect from slugs and snails. Winter dormancy. Ideal for the south side of the house en masse. Flower colour: Lavender. Habit: Clump. Leaves: Deciduous, Variegated.
