Description
aka Plantain Lily A lovely Hosta with fresh green foliage that is outlined in white. Will from a nice neat lush clump. In late spring-summer stems of mauve flowers sit above the foliage. Prefers a semi-shaded spot and nice rich moist soil. Perennial. Named after the plant explorer Thomas Hogg who is thought to have introduced Hostas to America and Europe. Flower colour: Lavender. Habit: Clump. Leaves: Deciduous, Variegated.
