Description

aka Magnolia Awarded an Award of Garden Merit in 1993 this is a lovely deciduous shrub that is quite vigorous and hardy. The silky pink buds open to reveal white shaggy star shaped flowers set against attractive bare branches. Fresh, dark green foliage follows. Est.10yr.growth. As with most Magnolias 'Waterlily' likes to be protected from strong wind. If planted in full sun mulch the roots well to keep them nice and cool. Flower colour: White / Pink. Habit: Shrub. Leaves: Deciduous, Green.
