Description
Angeleno (listed in-catalogue as Angelino) is a late-season commercial plum whose claim to fame is outstanding storage ability, making it a mainstay for eating quality well after harvest. The medium fruit has dark red skin and firm, sweet amber-yellow flesh, ripening very late in New Zealand around March into April. Self-fertile and reliable, it is the variety that stretches the NZ plum season into autumn on a deciduous multi-branched tree about 5 m tall by 3 m wide.
