Description
aka Raspberry 'Willamette' is a reliable, older variety with large deep red fruit with a nice sharp tang. Ripe from Autumn and suitable to prune for second fruiting. Plant in a sheltered sunny position in soil that does not completely dry out in summer. Deciduous. Raspberries fruit on 2nd year 'canes' i.e. older wood. They need a support framework for the 'canes' to grow against. They love well rotted organic matter and will fruit best when given a well balanced fertiliser in early spring. -after autumn fruiting cut back the cane 1/3, and you will have a 2nd fruiting in spring Flower colour: White. Habit: Shrub Tall. Leaves: Deciduous, Green.
