Description

Rhododendron. Gorgeous flowers of bright orange-scarlet with darker spots deep in the throat bloom in early summer, well after most other species and hybrids have finished flowering. A light brown, felted indumentum covers the new growth. Best in light shade to protect the summer blossoms. Acid soil. Evergreen. Flower colour: Orange / Red. Habit: Shrub. Leaves: Evergreen, Green.
