Description
aka Deciduous Azalea A particularly lovely Ilam hybrid with yellow flowers that just a hint of orange on the tips. Blooms in late October/November. Fresh green summer foliage with good autumn tones prior to leaf fall. Plant in the sun or part shade in deep acid soil for best results. Avoid Lime. Deciduous. 'Wryneck' is a word used to describe a painful muscle spasm that causes a stiff neck - I suppose this Azalea was so named as it is so beautiful you can't stop turning your neck to look at it. That's my story anyway and I'm sticking to it. Flower colour: Yellow / Cream. Habit: Shrub Tall. Leaves: Deciduous, Green.
