Description
Moss. A beautiful Rose which was discovered in Switzerland in the 1820's. The clear pink blooms are sweetly scented, fully double and cupped. Flowers in summer and should be pruned after flowering. Slightly drooping habit but quite hardy all the same. Excellent for Rose Water. Deciduous The buds are said to look like a 'cocked hat' hence the name Chapeau De Napoleon or 'Napoleon's Hat'. Not sure what the little general would think about that, mind you he did love Josephine and she in turn had a passion for roses....... Flower colour: Pink. Habit: Shrub. Leaves: Deciduous, Green.
