Description
aka Scabrosa Rugosa. The name 'Scabrosa' refers to the roughness of the handsome foliage which is clear green with interesting veining. The summer blooms are bright cerise pink offset with golden stamens and are followed by big fat red hips. Nice sweet fragrance. Robust and vigorous. 1950. This rose could be used as a hedge as it grows into quite a tall specimen. The hips can be used for culinary purposes. Flower colour: Pink / Silver. Habit: Shrub. Leaves: Deciduous, Green.
