Description
aka Tulip Tree Tulip Tree. A magnificent specimen tree that is worthy of planting. Strong straight trunk pyramidal form and attractive large, lobed, green and leaves that turn deeper yellow in autumn. In the spring it flowers with unusual tulip shaped green blooms with orange markings. A great paddock tree. Deciduous. Est 10yr.growth. The Liriodendron is a close relative of the Magnolia and likes the same type of deep acid soil. It is more tolerant of moisture than the Magnolia. A perfect memorial tree to celebrate a birth.
