Description

Peasgood / Montys Surprise is a multi-graft Malus domestica tree carrying 2 named apple cultivars on one plant. This format is useful where garden space is limited, because the tree can provide more than one harvest window, flavour profile, or pollination partner from a single planting. Peasgood / Montys Surprise is a double-graft apple combination carrying two varieties on one tree. Peasgood's Nonsuch is a heritage variety from the 1800's and still rates today as a top culinary apple. Ripe early autumn. Monty's Surprise - A NZ apple with very large fruit with a high level of flavonoids. Ripe around April. Deciduous. Matures to around 5 m tall by 3 m wide.
