Description

Royal Gala / Harold Red Delicious is a multi-graft Malus domestica tree carrying 2 named apple cultivars on one plant. This format is useful where garden space is limited, because the tree can provide more than one harvest window, flavour profile, or pollination partner from a single planting. Royal Gala / Harold Red Delicious is a double-graft apple combination carrying two varieties on one tree. Royal Gala - Rosy red blushed skin. Creamy fine textured flesh, crisp, sweet and juicy. Ripe in summer. Harold Red Delicious - The skin is a very deep red colour and the aromatic, juicy flesh is coloured cream. Ripens in autumn. Deciduous. Matures to around 5 m tall by 3 m wide.
