Description
Malus Mt Aurum is a New Zealand-bred crabapple sold by Leafland: an upright pyramidal tree (3 x 2 m at 10 years) with pink buds opening to white spring flowers and large gold-yellow fruit in heavy autumn clusters, excellent for jelly. Yellow autumn foliage adds seasonal interest; the tree is self-fertile, attracts bees and birds, and suits full sun and well-drained soil. An edible ornamental equally at home in the home orchard or landscape planting.
