Description
Okame is a cultivar of flowering cherry. Pendent clusters of dainty bright carmine pink bell flowers appear in late winter. These flowers are attractively fringed and a magnet for nectar loving birds. Bronze new foliage that eventually turns green. A good small tree suitable for town gardens. Deciduous. Matures to around 2.5 m tall by 2 m wide.
