Description

An erect variety with shiny, pointed, dark green foliage. This looks stunning in the hot months of Summer with beautiful red-scarlet flowers en-mass. An excellent coastal tree as tolerant of wind and salt spray. Evergreen. Frost tender. A cross between Southern Rata and Pohutukawa that incorporates the frost tolerance of the Rata with the large profuse flowers of the Pohutukawa. Flower colour: Red. Habit: Tree Multi Branched. Leaves: Evergreen, Green.
