Description
Marabella is a prunus domestica cultivar. This is a plum that arrived in New Zealand on the sailing ships from the homeland that stopped in South Africa on the way. A lot of the plant material that was originally stowed on the ships rotted going through the tropics, so plant material in South Africa was snapped up.
